My Reading Lately
There are so many distractions this days, thanks to unlimited cable channels, mobile gadgets apps like whatsapp, Instagram, family and responsibility etc. However despite all of this, a balance should be struck. I have always been lazy about reading except the synopsis at the back of the book catches my interest.
I abandoned reading novels but I thought about jump starting that area of my life. With reference to the book "The power trip" I did what most do, picked the book checked the synopsis at the back to know what it was about it. But there was not much to see there and went for the prologue. Read through and it got me, especially when I got to the part “And for one of them death and orgasm happened at the exact same moment” I found it humorous and wanted to know who was so fortunate or unfortunate in climaxing into another realm.
I still do some reading, but it has to be something that has contents that grabs my interests. Also priority in reading matters, presently trying to divert any reading energy in me towards my Masters programme. I must try to complete "The Power Trip" before the session is over.
